A rare Tuesday evening game saw Horton travel to Canning to play NKEC , Horton jumped out to an early 2 goal lead in the first period , only to have NKEC tie it up in the middle of the period , but 2 more goals late in the 1st had Horton up 4-2 after 1, Tim Longley scored for NKEC with 1:45 left in the 2nd period to make the score 4-3 Horton after 2 periods . NKEC scored 3 unanswered goals in the 3rd period to take a 6-4 victory .
FRIDAY
On Friday night West Kings hosted local rival Central Kings. It was a close game in the first with both teams having several chances before WK scored half way through the period but the Gators were able to tie it up late in the first to end it at 1-1. It was all Wolverines in the second as the Auburn squad were able to score 4 unanswered goals to make it 5 - 1 after two frames. It went back to a close game in the third with both teams scoring once to end the game 6 - 2 in favour of West Kings.
At Canning the host Titans defeated the visiting Middleton squad by a score of 10 - 1.
Saturday
The Middleton Arena was packed on saturday for the game between Digby and Middleton. The visiting Mariners hung a 9 - 4 decision on the host MRHS squad.
Sunday
On Sunday the visiting CK Gators defeated a short staffed Middleton High squad by a score of 12 - 2. In Digby in a 4 point game the West Kings Wolverines defeated Digby buy a score of 8 - 3. The game was close until midway through the third period. West Kings scored 4 unanswered goals in the last half of the third to run away with the win.
